ألطاي (Altai ؛ منغولية: Алтай хот, romanized: Altai hot, : [aɬˈtʰæˑ χɔʰt]) هي عاصمة آيمق گوڤي-ألطاي في غرب منغوليا. وفي عام 2008، كانت تعداد المدينة هو 15,800 نسمة.[1]
المناخ
Altai City has a typical Mongolian cold semi-arid climate (Köppen BSk) with subarctic (Dwc) influences, although the climate is so dry as to qualify as a cold desert climate (Köppen BWk) despite the annual mean being sufficient for sporadic permafrost. The climate experiences long, very dry and very cold winters with short, mild summers when the majority of the scant precipitation occurs.

البنية التحتية
The city receives its water supply from Zavkhan River connected by a 54-km water pipeline through the Taishir-Altai Water Treatment Plant.[6]

مطار ألطاي (LTI/ZMAT) يضم ثلاث مدارج وتخدمه رحلات منتظمة إلى أرڤايخير و أولان باتور.
