(إدوارد) والتر ماوندر Edward Walter Maunder ‏(12 أبريل 1851 - 21 مارس 1928) كان فلكياً إنگليزياً، يُذكر بدراسته البقع الشمسية والدورة المغناطيسية الشمسية التي أدت إلى تعرفه على الفترة من 1645 إلى 1715 والتي تُعرف الآن بإسم أدنى ماوندر Maunder Minimum.

 سيرته

ولد إدوارد والتر ماوندر في 1851، في لندن، كأصغر أبناء قس في الجمعية الوسلية.
