الاتحاد السوداني لكرة القدم تأسس في عام 1936م وانضم إلى الإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم في 1936 وانضم إلى الفيفا في 1948.[1] ومع مصر وإثيوبيا وجنوب أفريقيا، كان السودان أحد مؤسسي الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم في 1957. The International Federation of Football Associations, FIFA, decided to suspend the activities of the Sudan Football Association (SFA) starting from Friday 30 June 2017.[2] The suspension was lifted on Thursday 13 July 2017.[3]
