الحاسوب الدقيق Microcomputer هو جهاز إلكتروني رقمي قابل للبرمجة يتكون من وحدة أساسية هي المعالج الدقيق و وحدات ثانوية هي الذاكرة و وحدات الادخال و الاخراج و المؤقتات و أحيانا محول رقمى تناظرى ومحول تناظرى رقمى أهم صوره:
- لوحة رئيسية ومجموعة كروت متصلة بها
- كارت واحد
- شريحة واحدة: وفى هذه الحالة اما يستخدم للتحكم في عملية صناعية فيسمى المتحكم الدقيق أو يسخدم لمعالجة إشارة رقمية فيسمى معالج الإشارة الرقمية
