حافظ بشار الأسد Hafez Bashar al-Assad (وُلد 5 ديسمبر 2001) هو الابن الأكبر لرئيس السوري السابق بشار الأسد وزوجته أسماء الأسد.[1][2][3] وحتى سقوط نظام الأسد في 8 ديسمبر 2024 كان يُنظر إليه كخليفة محتمل لوالده.[1][2][3]

النشأة والعائلة

ولد حافظ بشار الأسد في دمشق في 5 ديسمبر 2001.[4][5][6] وسُمي على اسم جده، الرئيس السابق حافظ الأسد.[6][7] في شبابه، التحق بمدرسة مونتيسوري مع أخته وأخيه.[4][8] كما التحقوا بمدرسة اللغات في منطقة البرامكة بدمشق.[9]

في 2020، تم فرضت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية عقوبات على حافظ بشار الأسد ضمن حزمة عقوبات استهدفت نظام والده.[5][10] ومُنع السفر إلى الولايات المتحدة أو امتلاك أصول فيها.[7]

في ديسمبر 2024، فرت عائلته من سوريا بعد سقوط نظام الأسد واستقروا جميعاً في العاصمة الروسية موسكو.[11][12]

يجيد الأسد اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.[13][14] الروسية[15]ويتعلم الصينية.[16]

أولمبياد الرياضيات

قال الأسد في تصريح لوسائل الإعلام بأن الرياضيات هي "شغف طفولته".[17] وشارك في الأولمبياد الدولي للرياضيات ممثلاً لسورية بين عامي 2016 و2018.[18]

وتعرضت مشاركة الأسد في أولمپياد الرياضيات العالمي لانتقادات من قبل بعض المراقبين الخارجيين، معتبرين إدراجه في المنتخب السوري نتيجة المحسوبية.[20] إلا أن ممثلاً عن الحكومة السورية نفى ذلك، مدعياً ​​أن الأسد تأهل في منافسة عادلة للحصول على مكان في الفريق.[14]

التعليم

In 2015, Assad received his primary education certificate from Naeem Maasarani School in Damascus with a final grade of 2983 out of 3000.[25]

In 2018, Assad received his secondary education certificate from Sawa and Montessori School in Damascus with a final grade of 2672 out of 2900.[26][27]

In 2016, it was announced that Assad would complete his higher education in Russia.[28] Before he matriculated to Moscow State University, he studied for a period of time at the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus.[27] In 2023, Assad graduated with a master's degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University with honors.[1][29][30] He graduated on an accelerated schedule, completing his final two years in a single year. [31] He wrote his thesis on the topic of number theory.[30][32] In November 2024, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on number theory, titled "Arithmetic Questions of Polynomials in Algebraic Number Fields", at Moscow State University.[12][33][34] Assad dedicated his thesis "to the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army, without whose selfless sacrifices none of us would exist".[34]
