فوردو (بالفارسية : فردو) هي قرية في Fordo District، Kahak County في محافظة قم في إيران. يقع الى الجنوب من مدينة قم وتبعد عنها 47 كم. الإحداثيات الجغرافية لها هي 50 درجة 54 دقيقة شرقا و 34 درجة 16 دقيقة شمالاً.[1][2] وهي قريبة من مدينة قم المقدسة لدى الشيعة.[3][4]
ويعتقد أن قرية فردو لديها أكبر نسبة من المقاتلين الذين قتلوا في حرب الثمان سنوات بين إيران والعراق التي وقعت من سبتمبر 1980 الى اغسطس 1988.
في سبتمبر 2009، تم الكشف عن أن إيران لديها محطة ثانية هي محطة فوردو لتخصيب اليورانيوم قرب قرية فردو، التي كانت منحوتة في الجبال الى الجنوب من طهران.[5]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 732 in 230 households, when it was in Nofel Loshato District[أ] of Qom County.[8] The following census in 2011 counted 667 people in 227 households.[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 839 people in 303 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[10]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kahak County and renamed the Central District. The rural district was transferred to the new Fordo District.[7]

The village of Fordo is believed to have the largest percentage of fighters killed in the Iran–Iraq War,[11] which lasted from September 1980 to August 1988.

In September 2009, it was revealed that Iran had the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, its second uranium enrichment plant, near the village of Fordo.[12] The enrichment site was reported by The New York Times to be a target during the June 2025 Israeli strikes on Iran.[13]
