يوهان ياكوب زولتسر

يوهان ياكوب زولتسر-نوي‌فرت (Johann Jakob Sulzer-Neuffert ؛ 8 ديسمبر 1782 في ڤينترتور - 16 يناير 1853 في نفس المدينة) كان رجل أعمال مبادر سويسر ومؤسس شركة زولتسر.

Johann Jakob Sulzer was born in Winterthur as the son of Salomon . He completed an apprenticeship in his father's foundry as a turner and caster. In 1806, Sulzer married Anna Catharina Neuffert, the daughter of a Winterthur pharmacist. In 1807, after his father's death, he took over the brass foundry on the city moat, which at the time mainly produced bells . He experimented with iron casting for years until he achieved a satisfactory result in 1827.

In 1834, Sulzer acquired a piece of land from the city of Winterthur and, together with his sons Johann Jakob and Salomon Jr. , built a new iron foundry, which became known as the Sulzer Brothers in 1836. Sulzer managed the brass foundry, which continued to exist, until shortly before his death.
