- 2 فبراير - Yongle Emperor، third emperor of the Ming dynasty، shifts the Ming capital from Nanjing to Beijing.
- 3 مارس - Zheng He receives an imperial order from the Yongle Emperor to begin the Ming treasure voyages، carrying imperial letters, silk products and other gifts to various rulers of countries around the Indian Ocean.
