حركة حقيقية

Relation between proper motion and velocity components of an object. The object is distance d from the Sun, and moves at angular rate μ radians/s, that is, μ = v_t / d with v_t = velocity transverse to line of sight from the Sun. (The diagram illustrates an angle μ swept out in unit time at tangential velocity v_t.)

الحركة الحقيقية Proper motion هى حركة النجم الأصلية في الكرة السماوية الناتجة عن حركته ذاته وحركة الشمس في دورانهما حول المجرة.

والحركة الحقيقية تحدث تغيرا في مواقع النجوم على آماد زمانية طويلة ويمكن قياس هذة الحركة بالتغير النسبي لموقع نجم.

ويعتبر النجم بارنارد ذا حركة حقيقية كبيرة في سماء النجوم.

 مقدمة
